Launchpad has been developed with the combination of airline and RPAS industry experience so that the software meets the standard of local aviation authorities. The development team have extensive experience as airline pilots and flight instructors on both fixed wing and RPAS aircraft. VIO Aviation Solutions has partnered with software development company Flightdeck Software and Support who have active flight planning software in a number of airlines and charter companies.
RPAS Launchpad focuses on mission planning time reduction, enabling RPAS operators to deploy aircraft faster while remaining compliant with regulatory requirements and accurately capturing the relevant information.
The rapid pace of RPAS evolution has dramatically increased the number and complexity of drones operating within our airspace. This expansion has increased the number of companies and people participating in the aviation environment, many of whom are new to the industry. The widening appeal of RPAS has led to expanded regulation and therefore, the need for improved flight planning methods and the reduction in operator workloads while conducting commercial operations.
The purpose of RPAS Launchpad aims at addressing the regulatory requirements to operate an RPAS commercially. Launchpad’s design provides a compliance-based platform to enable operators to be more efficient in their flight operations whilst remaining compliant to the regulations.
The programme's continual development aims to improve user experience through additional functions and integrations linked to industry trends and applications in line with expanding RPAS capabilities.
Our slogan "Plan ahead, stay ahead" relates to our programme, ensuring pilots are prepared for their mission utilising accurate data, which add to the efficiency and safety of the organisation.
